Holland America Schedules Two "Grand Voyages" Aboard Prinsendam in 2009

Holland America has announced two "Grand Voyages aboard the 793-Passenger Prinsendam in 2009. The first, a circumnavigation of South America, sails January 2, 2009 roundtrip from Ft. Lauderdale, and is entitled the "Grand South America and Antarctic Voyage." Visiting 32 ports of call and crossing the Equator 4 times, this is a connoisseur's South America.

The second voyage, the "Grand Mediterranean and Black Sea Voyage" departs Fort Lauderdale March 11, 2009, for a 50-day roundtrip to the Mediterranean and Black Sea. Visiting 25 ports of call in 15 countries, this sailing features overnight calls as well as late night departures from several ports.

Bookings are now open on both sailings, and there are some very nice early booking bonuses, including shipboard credit, airfare and limousine transfers in select categories. The sailings can also be combined into a back-to-back sailing. Nice!
