Carnival President Dickenson Retires

Announced several months ago, Friday was Carnival President Bob Dickenson's last day on the job after 35 years with the cruise line. Hundreds of Carnival employees joined him in at a reception at the line's Miami Headquarters.

Love him or hate him, Dickenson was a master marketer who revolutionized the cruise industry. On a personal note, I'll say that his office was always the most responsive to customer communications, often responding within a single day.

The industry won't be the same without you, Bob.
