Clocks on Cruises

If you're like me, you feel a bit lost at night in a cruise cabin as there's no clock to be found. I don't like wearing a watch to bed, and I tend not to sleep as well if I can't at least see a clock when I wake up, plus I just don't trust phone alarms.
So of course I bring my own alarm clock, but have long disliked the fact that these travel alarms don't have a full-time back light - you have to grope around and push a button for the time to be illuminated.
FINALLY there's a full-time backlit travel alarm clock... at an affordable price! I've been using one from Magellans for about a year now, and love it: Light All Night Alarm.
The back light turns on when you set the alarm (but no one says you have to set it for the morning), and doubles as a night light as well. In addition, it can function as a low-power flashlight. Absolutely perfect for ship cabins!
Have recently found a similar model (only difference I've found in the two models is color and snooze duration) at REI.com: Lewis & Clark Nightlight Clock. The REI model is currently on sale at a very attractive price. It also comes in white.
