Royal Caribbean Ship Highlights

Confused by all the ship options? I understand! It is a full-time job to keep up with all the innovations and idiosyncrasies on the various ships out there on all lines.

But as part of the First Time Cruisers Month, Royal Caribbean is helping to remove some of that confusion for you... at least about their ships.

Check out Royal Caribbean Ship Highlights for a listing of all the Royal Caribbean ship classes, the ships in each class, and a brief description of some of the features each class offers.

Still not sure what's for you? That's where a good agent comes in. I'll help guide you through the choices, not just with Royal Caribbean, but in all lines, to make sure you get the right fit to make your vacation special.

Just because this is the end of the First Time Cruisers Month, don't think that you can't contact me at any time with your questions. New cruisers are a favorite challenge of mine, and I look forward to introducing you to cruising whenever you're ready!

Royal Caribbean's First Time Cruisers Event finishes up the month with savings on sailings to Mexico and the Caribbean! While the event is called "First Time Cruisers", the savings are for everyone!

By the way, did you know the Mariner of the Seas begins sailings from Los Angeles in February? The largest ship ever to sail from the West Coast, this ship also receives the most consistent praise among my clients for the Voyager-Class ships. Why Cruising?

One of the most frequent questions I get from those who have never cruised is "will I be bored?" It's a legitimate question if you have never cruised. After all, cruising was once thought of as the vacation of choice for "newly weds and nearly deads." But that all has changed and cruising is as active a vacation as you want it to be.

To get an idea of what activities can be found on a mainstream cruise ship (albeit, Royal Caribbean isn't necessarily "typical" as they have many unique features), here's the next tip in the First Time Cruisers Month series from Royal Caribbean: First Time Cruisers: Why Cruising?

I dare you to still think you might be bored after reading this! However, if you think this sounds exhausting, realize that in addition to all the activities, cruise lines have also invested in some wonderful spa facilities, and you can just relax on a lounge chair, sit by the pool with your favorite "frozen thingie" in hand, and enjoy a low-key vacation as well. That's the key to cruising - it's great no matter what type of vacation you want!

Royal Caribbean Crown & Anchor Dollars Off!

As part of the 2nd Annual First Time Cruisers Month, Royal Caribbean is offering past passengers and members of their Crown and Anchor society dollars off selected cruises. Yes, there is logic here, as they're extending the offer to not just the Crown and Anchor member's cabin, but also to another one on the same cruise. Think of it as an enticement for you to cruise... and bring a new cruiser with you!

The offers range from $50-$200/cabin discount as follows:
  • 3-5 Night Cruises - $50/cabin discount
  • 6-9 Night Cruises - $100/cabin discount
  • 9+ Night Cruises - $200/cabin discount

The applicable sailings and discounts can be found at First Time Cruisers Event Crown & Anchor Dollars Off Offer. The offer is good for bookings made November 10-30, 2008. So call or email me for your booking(s)!

Royal Caribbean 2nd Annual First Time Cruisers' Month

November is Royal Caribbean's First Time Cruisers' Month... but everyone gets the savings!

Throughout the month, I'll be posting hints and tips for first time cruisers, about cruising in general, Royal Caribbean, their ships, and specific itineraries. In addition, each week there will be a new savings offer posted.

I'll admit the "tips" are ads put out by Royal Caribbean, but much of the information is good for new cruisers in general. Even if you're not considering Royal Caribbean, they're good to read in broad terms, to start thinking about what type of line you'd like, give you information on cruising in general, and some good destination information. From there, you and I can work together to determine what cruise, itinerary and line are right for you.

Today, the first tip is the Top 10 Reasons to Choose Royal Caribbean Cruise Line.

Watch for a new special announced tomorrow, and the next tip and more specials coming next week!
